>>> On January 19, 2017, the Department of Homeland Security instituted final guidelines for intelligence activities in its Office of Intelligence and Analysis. For over 8 years prior to that, those intelligence activities were governed by a much-shorter interim policy. When the final policy was posted recently, the interim policy came down. For the historical record, I'm posting the interim policy above.
